Can I hang or attach booth equipment, signs, lighting, etc. from the Convention Center ceiling?
Hanging or attaching signs, exhibitry, or lighting to any part of the facility is strictly limited to island and peninsula-type booths that have a single booth square footage of 400 square feet or greater.
Furthermore, the lowest point of any item hung from the facility by a qualifying booth must not fall between 4 and 9 feet from the floor, and any sign hung in a peninsula-type booth must also maintain a minimum 10 ft. offset from the shared common wall.
All in-line booths and all booths less than 400 square feet are prohibited from attaching or hanging anything whatsoever to any part of the facility.
What equipment is required for my booth?
All exhibitors are required to have some form of floor covering. Carpet is available through the Exhibitor Service Kit. In addition, if you are in a peninsula space, your back wall must be a minimum of 8 feet high and must go from aisle to aisle. If you are in an in-line booth, you will be provided with pipe and drape 8 feet high on the back and 3 feet high on the sides.
What is the Online Exhibitor Directory?
The online exhibitor directory is the electronic search system used on the SFPAEXPO.com website that helps attendees locate your company and product information. You can customize your online listing with your logo, company description, product categories, and much more.
Your listing will be included in the online search systems where visitors can browse your virtual booth 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The online exhibitor directory is a web-based database that allows builders to search for exhibitors by product category, keyword, company name, etc.
I have an online listing. How do I log in?

Someone is trying to sell me attendee contact data. Can I trust them?
EXPO exhibitors are frequently targeted by companies no associated with SFPA and Forest Products EXPO, offering attendee lists, booth enhancements, and other services from the “Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition” and/or other variations on the EXPO or SFPA name or logo. Please be aware that these companies have nothing to do with EXPO or SFPA.
Solicitations from unofficial vendors are often the result of obtaining public information available on the internet.
The Southern Forest Products Association only shares exhibitor and attendee information, as needed, with our official partners to produce the Forest Products Machinery & Equipment EXPO. Those official vendors include:
- GES
- MCI
- Map Your Show
- The Music City Center
SFPA nor its official EXPO partners listed above do not sell or share your information. That’s why we work with these partners to keep all data behind password-protected sites. SFPA does, however, provide a post-EXPO report of attendees and their contact information to exhibitors who are SFPA members to allow for follow-ups, as necessary.
The attendee contact is only issued to official EXPO partners, as needed, and a post-EXPO report of attendees and their contact information is sent to exhibitors who are SFPA members to allow for follow-ups, as necessary.
The only legitimate emails you will receive come from SFPA, MCI, GES, Map Your Show, or the Music City Center.
Housing and Registration
When can I begin making hotel reservations?
Housing in the official Forest Products EXPO hotel block will be released in Spring 2027. Stay tuned to SFPAexpo.com or sign up for our newsletter so you don't miss the opening announcement!
Can I book outside the official EXPO hotel block?
The official – and only – Forest Products EXPO contracted hotels and ensuing rates, which are contracted by SFPA, must be booked directly through SFPAexpo.com/hotels.
However, there are many companies that try to present themselves as being an official part of the Forest Products Machinery & Equipment EXPO. They are NOT. They frequently offer attractive prices for familiar hotels but be aware: these offers are usually untrue.
Several housing agencies, including fraudulent companies, typically present themselves as official booking agencies for Forest Products EXPO each year, contacting exhibitors and attendees to make hotel reservations using their services.
Reservations made through any other agency cannot be guaranteed by SFPA or the Forest Products EXPO. Use only the links at SFPAexpo.com/hotels to safely secure your hotel reservation within the approved Forest Products EXPO block.
When does attendee registration open?
Registration for Forest Products EXPO 2027 will open in Spring 2027. Stay tuned to SFPAexpo.com or sign up for our newsletter so you don't miss the opening announcement!
